💬 5 Fast Facts About the Blogger

Thurs.

I thought it would be fun to share a few general facts about myself. Feel free to comment with some facts of your own. I look forward to getting to know you!

1..I’m a huge animal lover. I served as Vice President of a non-profit animal rescue/advocacy organization from 2010-2014.

a) I’ve fostered dozens of cats & kittens (I’ve lost track of how many). At one point, I was basically running an impromptu “Kitten Daycare”, fostering 10 kittens all at once.

b) Cats are my favorite type of animal. I currently have three rescues: Raisin, the princess (age 8), Rockett, the hellcat (age 7), and Rooney “Steeler”, the scaredy cat (age 6).

c) I’ve thrown a birthday party for a cat. It was a huge success!

2. I’m a Capricorn (Leo moon & Scorpio rising, for those who care). I’m also really into astrology.

3. I have a Bachelor’s in Clinical Psychology and I’m working on a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling.

4. I’ve been obsessed with Elvis basically since I could talk, but I’ve never been to Graceland. ?

5. I couldn’t blow up a balloon if my life depended on it.

FAIL.

But I can roll my tongue and wiggle my ears, so I’m not completely talentless.

You can always talk with me about any of these things (in addition to books & audiobooks, of course).

Happy Thursday!

Very cool, Casey! Thank you for sharing so much about yourself.

Funny story about Creedence: My brother still sings “There’s a bathroom on the right” (instead of “bad moon on the rise”) just to make me smile! ?

      PS: Ginny is precious.

      1. Okay, that story actually did make me laugh out loud.

Yes, Ginny was precious, sadly she passed away last Dec. 28. My blog after that recounts some pretty bad times and they were compounded again this Spring when my dad passed away. Thanks for the follow! 🙂

          1. It is perfectly understandable, the random facts post was written well in advance of her death so if that is what you read first, you’d have no way of knowing.

Thanks, I really need to write more reviews, I haven’t in awhile.

I like dogs too (I’ve had some), but cats fit in better with my life right now. But I love all animals, really.

There’s no helping me in the balloon department, I’m afraid!

Let me know what you think!
