The Beauty And The Beast Book Tag

I was tagged by Jay (A Lovelorn Virgo) to participate in this fun book tag created by Kristy and the Cat Read.
I’m really awful at choosing just one of anything, so I bent the rules a little.

Click each book image to be taken to its Amazon page via affiliate link. Purchasing through these links helps support The Audiobookworm. Yay!

1. “Tale As Old As Time” – A popular theme, trope or setting you will never get bored of reading.

Theme: Royalty/High Society
Trope: Main character with an illness/disability
Setting: Southern

2. Belle – A book you bought for it’s beautiful cover that’s just as beautiful inside too

I don’t make a habit of purchasing solely because of a beautiful cover, but Heartborn fits the bill for being beautiful on the inside and out. It has possibly the most beautiful cover I’ve ever seen and the writing was just as breathtaking.

3. Beast – A book you didn’t expect much from but pleasantly surprised you.

4. Gaston – A book everyone loves that you don’t

5. Lefou – A loyal sidekick you can’t help but love more than their counter part.

Mother Jilo Wills, Kitty Song, and Park

6. Mrs. Potts, Chip, Lumier & Cogsworth – A book that helped you through a difficult time or that taught you something valuable

Chasing the Dollar comforted me during a really trying time and Me Before You taught me a valuable life lesson.

7. “Something There” – A book or a series that you weren’t into at first but picked up towards the end.

8. “Be Our Guest” – A fictional character you’d love to have over for dinner

Morgan, Tyrion Lannister, Mother Jilo, Lara Jean Song, and Robert Langdon

➜ In turn, I’m tagging Maureen, Jorie, Susan, Sam, Brooke, Bea, Ericka, Kay, Jade, and Valerie!

Let me know what you think!
